Where they started
LaGraphico is a design, print and corporate branding studio in Harare, established in 2015. Branding, signage, printing, promotional products and vehicle branding, all under one roof.
The work was already there, and so were the clients, ZBC among them. The studio also already took its orders on WhatsApp.
What was getting in the way
The problem wasn't whether LaGraphico could do the work. The problem was how that work was being presented online.
A typical website would have added a contact form, a backend and an inbox nobody checks, all pulling customers away from the channel the studio actually uses.
The brand orange posed a quieter problem: at 2.5:1 against white, it fails accessibility contrast at every text size.
What changed
WhatsApp instead of a form. Every button opens a chat with the studio, with a message that matches its label already typed. No server, and no inbox to forget about.
Real work instead of stock photos. The site shows 9 real client jobs and 11 client logos, so visitors see what LaGraphico actually produces.
Orange as a fill, never as text. Buttons and badges carry the brand colour with dark text on top at 5.8:1. That keeps the 60/30/10 colour split and keeps every word readable.
A gallery rebuilt for real screens. On a common 1366×768 laptop, the original gallery cut about 40% off every photo, including the printed logos it was there to show. The tiles are now locked to 4:3 and capped by screen height, and anyone who turns on reduced motion sees a still grid.
Search from day one. Local search data, a sitemap and social sharing cards went in before launch.
Where they ended up
A fast, mobile-first marketing site built with Next.js, TypeScript and Tailwind CSS, hosted as a static site on Cloudflare Pages.
From first commit to handover in 23 days: 10 homepage sections plus a work gallery, and 0 forms or servers to maintain.
Now when someone looks LaGraphico up, they find the studio's real work and a one-tap way to ask for a quote.
